कभी छोटी 
तो कभी मोटी ,
उठी लहरे , जल जीवन में 
सभी थम जाएँगी ;

बचा है जो जुलूम 
वो तो कभी न रुक पायेगा  !

दिल खुद पर करता है जो वार 
उसे कौन समझायेगा  ?

दुश्मन ,
जो दिन में दीखता नहीं 
और रात की तन्हाइयो में 
घेरता है  !
