और बांधे बन्ध हम
ब्रह्मपुत्र से सतलज -
कृष्णा और कावेरी के
रोक देंगे हम जल,

बिजली बनादे
रौशनी छा दे ;

मजदूर को मालिक बनादे
किसान की हम भूख मिटादे  -

मरुभूमि इस भारत की में
हम हरा एक बाग़  लगा दे
