 न कोई आशा 

छा रही है चारो तरफ 

घोर निराशा ;

घनी रात के अंधेरो में 

न देख पाऊ 

घर पिया का ;

दिल के किस कोने में 

बैठ कर लिखहु ,

कौन से इश्क के 

अफ़साने  ?

નથી આશા ,

ચોતરફ

છાઈ રહી છે

નિરાશા  ;

પ્રેમ ના મંદિરે આજ

ઉતરી રહી છે

ઘોર નિરાશા ,

હતાં સ્વપ્નો

મુહાબ્બત તણી  કહાની

નથી કો સર્જવાના
