जहाँ गाड़ के रखी है 
तेरे मेरे पहले मिलन की 
सुनहरी यादे  ;

भुलाती जाती यादे 
गावं की सीमा पर खड़े 
समाधि के पत्थर सी यादे  ;

और एक तू है  !

मानो जैसे 
तुझे अतीत को भूलना है 
इस अदा से ,
जानबूझ कर 
मुँह फ़ेर लेती हो  !

ना तुझे चलना है 
इस जनम की राह पर ,
और ना देती हो मुझे भूलना 
आनेवाले 
सौ जनम की राहें   !

देख पाती हो 
क्या लिखहा है भावी ने ,
तेरे मेरे तक़दीर में  ?

किसकी खोज में हो  ?

नया अवतार  ?

नये बंधन  ?  नए रिश्ते  ?

नयी भूले  ?   नए  पाप  ?

नया  मैं  ?   नयी  तू  ?

जो अभी है , यहाँ है 
स्वप्न नहीं , सत्य है,

इन सब पुरानो में 
क्या कमी है  ?

મારી નજર સામે કોઈ ભાવિ નથી
ફક્ત અંધકાર જ અંધકાર છે .

તેથી જ તો હું વારંવાર
ભૂતકાળ માં
ભૂલો પડી જાઉં છું ,

જ્યાં સુખદ એવી
સ્મૃતિઓ કેવી ,
દટાએલી પડી છે .

ગામ ને પાદર
ભૂલાતા જતાં
પાળિયા ઓ જેવી ,

'ને તું ?

અતીત ને જાણે
ભૂલી જવા માગતી ના હોય
તેમ જાણી જોઈ ને
મોઢું ફેરવી લ્યે છો  !

તારી સામે તો
આ ભવ પછી ,
અનેક ભવોની વાટ
રાહ જોતી ઉભી છે  -

જ્યાં હું ઉભો છું ?

તને શું દેખાય છે
ભાવિની ભીતર માં ?

નવો અવતાર ?
નવા બંધનો ?
નવી ભૂલ ?
નવા પાપ ?
