शिकस्त तेरी भी तो है

कैसे मानू ,

मेरी बेताबी से बढ़कर 

तेरी कोई मजबूरी है  ?

मुजे हराने ,

निराशा 

जीवन में बार बार आयी ,

और ज्यादातर 

उन निराशाओ को 

बदल के आशाओ में ,

मैं  जीता  ;

पर तुजे न पा सका 

उस पराभव को तो 

शर झुकाके 

स्वीकारना ही है  ;

अब इतना तो क़बूलो ,

मेरी हार में 

शिकस्त तेरी भी तो है  !

Defeat is yours too , 

how can you believe that 

there is a compulsion for 

you more than my anxiety ? 

My defeats , 

disappointments came again and again in life ,

and mostly in the hope of 

changing those disappointments , 

I won ; 

but you could not get that defeat , 

you have to accept it ; 

now itna toh kaboolo , 

in my defeat , 

defeat is yours too !

શિકસ્ત તારી જ છે !

મારી અધીરાઈ થી અદકી

તારી અસહાયતા છે ,

એ કેમ માનું  ?

જીવન માં દરેક " ના " ની

" હા " કરવા ઝઝૂમનાર

( અને ઘણુંખરું  જીતનાર )

મારે ,

પરાભવ તારી " નકાર " નો

નત મસ્તકે

સ્વીકારવો જ રહેશે  ?

પણ

કબૂલ તો કરીશ જ ને કે ,

મારી હાર માં સૌ પ્રથમ

શિકસ્ત તારી જ છે  !
